Rave Finder helps a group of friends find each other at events. Your live location is sensitive personal data, and we treat it that way. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR.
We process your location on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by turning on sharing and which you can withdraw at any time (in-app: set sharing to off/ghost, or leave the group). Showing your group to each other is the core service you ask for.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your data, and to withdraw consent. To delete your account and all associated data, leave your groups and stop sharing in-app, or email privacy@stoicholding.no and we will erase it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
The SOS feature alerts the members of your group only. It is not connected to, and is not a substitute for, emergency services. In a real emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU/Norway).
Access to every location, group, and alert is restricted to that group's members by row-level security on our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU). Traffic is encrypted in transit.
Rave Finder is not intended for children under 16.
We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. Questions: privacy@stoicholding.no.
